The Peter Kauffman violin is made by J&J String Instruments (fka West Coast Strings). The Kauffman is a great instrument for a player advancing from a beginner instrument and comes with a seasoned spruce top, maple back, and ebony fingerboard and pegs. The varnish is lightly antiqued and the instrument has a sweet sound.
